KUALA LUMPUR: Where should Asian Games squash champion Ng Eain Yow go after the completion of his studies in Bristol, England?

Squash Racquets Association of Malaysia director Major (rtd) S. Maniam feels that Eain Yow should base himself at the Pontefract Squash Club in England where former world No. 1 James Willstrop is coaching.

Notably, Willstrop guided Egypt's world No. 4 Mostafa Asal to the British Open title early this month.

Eain Yow, 26, is currently looking for a new training base, and he will be completing his Business management degree at Bristol University by the end of next month.

World No. 13 Eain Yow yesterday helped Malaysia beat Hong Kong 2-1 in the final of the Asian Team Championships in Dalian, China.

Maniam said: "I recommend Eain Yow to train at the Pontefract club where Willstrop has guided Mostafa to win the British Open title.

"Mostafa has said some good things about Willstrop's training techniques. Furthermore, Mostafa will be a good sparring partner."

Maniam added that Eain Yow wants to check out other trainng bases in America before making a decision.

Meanwhile Maniam said he was proud of the Malaysian men and women in winning the Asian team titles in Dalian.

He urged the players to build on their performance for a better show at the World Team Championships in Hong Kong from Dec 9-15.
