SUBANG: The Corporate Super Rugby challenge reaches its climax with the reckoning of two giant teams in the CSR Grand Final.

The Bank Muamalat Bullets will defend the championship they won in the inaugural season in 2022 – known as the Corporate Premier Rugby Championship – after

defeating the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) Blackhawks 38-12 in the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, the Persatuan Perkhidmatan Tadbir dan Diplomatik (PPTD) Patriots will compete

in the championship match for the first time after surprising last season's finalist, Royal Klang City Council (MBDK) Royal Town Warriors 16-15 in the other semi-final.

Bullets coach Mazuri Sallehudin believes his players are ready to defend the championship

based on their performance throughout the season.

"Our team have performed well so far, but we should not be complacent and make mistakes in the final."

Meanwhile, PPTD Patriots team manager Anwarrul Aswad thinks his team will not face any

pressure ahead of the finals.

"For me, the pressure is not on our team."

"We performed well in the semi-final and all we have to do is continue that momentum."

The CSR Grand Final, which takes place at UM Arena, University of Malaya tomorrow will see the Bullets and Patriots clash in the 'Championship Match' at 8.45pm.

The pre-match will take place at 4.00 pm through the bronze medal match between RMAF

Blackhawks against MBDK Royal Town Warriors.
