KUALA LUMPUR: Squash player S. Sivasangari, following her commendable progress in recent months, has moved up one spot to No. 15 in the women's PSA Tour world rankings, released on Tuesday.

The Kedah-born, who reached the third round of the Windy City Open in Chicago last week, now sets her sights on reclaiming her career-best ranking of No. 14 in upcoming tournaments.

Compatriot Rachel Arnold maintained her ranking at No. 25. Aifa Azman moved up one rung to No. 37, while her sister, Aira. dropped three places to No. 45.

In the men's rankings, Ng Eain Yow, despite an early exit in the first round at the Windy City Open, moved up one position to No. 19.

National No. 2 men Addeen Idrakie retained his No. 65 spot, followed by Sanjay Jeeva at No. 88 and Syafiq Kamal at No. 102.

National coach Ajaz Azmat hopes Sivasangari will further improve her ranking by doing well in her next tournament at the Squash in the Land in Cleveland on March 5-10.

Those in the top 57 of the men's and women's rankings will qualify for the World Championships in Cairo on May 9-17.
