World No. 29 Rachel will face Egypt's world junior champion Amina Orfi in the
quarter-finals.
Seventh seed S. Sivasangari also advanced with a hard-fought 11-8, 11-6, 7-11, 11-9 win over Hong Kong's Tsz Wing Tong.

National champion Aira Azman lost 11-13, 12-14, 1-11 to England's top seed Georgina Kennedy while Ainaa Amani lost 5-11, 3-11, 11-7, 11-4 to Melissa Alves of France.
