KUALA LUMPUR: Double champions Tunku Mahkota Ismail Sports School (SSTMI) registered their second win in the Malaysian Junior Hockey League (MJHL) by beating Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) 2-0 in a Division One match at the Education Ministry Turf here today.

Saiful Syahfy Badruddin (seventh minute) and Nabil Irfan Yusof (12th) scored for SSTMI.

Meanwhile, last year's runners-up Pahang drew 2-2 with Johor Sports Council at Wisma Belia Stadium in Kuantan.

Khairil Hakimi Zainol gave Johor the lead in the 17th minute, but Pahang scored two goals through captain Nor Syakir Hafiz (21st) and Harith Afi Rishammudin (37th).

Johor snatched a point with Addit Abdullah equalising in the 42nd minute.

Pahang coach Sufian Mohamad was disappointed with the draw.

"My forwards were wasteful. We lost two points due to poor finishing."
