KUALA LUMPUR: Taiwan coach Gary White showed his displeasure with Malaysia coach Kim Pan Gon as his side lost 3-1 at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Tuesday.

White was seen having an angry exchange with Pan Gon on the sideline during the match, and the two men had to be separated by officials.

White and Pan Gon clashed towards the end of the match, and both the coaches were shown the yellow card by Kuwaiti referee Abdullah Jamali.

White, during a pre-match press conference on Monday, had rubbished Pan Gon's declaration that Malaysia aim to beat Taiwan by eight goals in their World Cup Group D qualifier.

"It shows that you should not talk badly of teams. Our team is a good team, you have a lot of quality in your team. He should keep his mouth shut because football is football and it's played on the grass," said White.
