KUALA LUMPUR: More than two weeks have passed since acid attack-victim Faisal Halim left hospital, and Selangor fans are wondering about his condition.

The FA of Selangor said it will hold a press conference in a week's time on Faisal's recovery.

The Selangor star has undergone a series of surgeries following third-degree burns to his arms, back, shoulder and ribs.

On May 5, Faisal was splashed with acid by an unknown assailant at a mall in Damansara, leaving him with serious injuries.

Selangor FC director Datuk Seri Shahril Mokhtar said if feasible, Faisal may even attend the press conference.

"We are planning to hold the press conference within the week."

Winger Faisal has shown remarkable resilience in his efforts to recover and rejoin the Selangor Super League team.

While the timeline for his comeback remains uncertain, Selangor FC officials hope he can be back in six months.
