KUALA LUMPUR: Terengganu head coach Tomislav Steinbruckner said his team are ready for extra-time and penalty shootout against Johor Darul Ta`zim (JDT) in the Malaysia Cup final on Friday.
The Croatian revealed that the team have been working on their fitness to be prepared for more than 90 minutes.
However, Steinbruckner said he hopes that the Turtles could win the match in regulation time.
"But if the match goes into extra time and penalty shootout, we are ready and we have prepared for this during training."
Though Terengganu lost 2-0 and 3-1 to JDT in the Super League this season, Steinbruckner said his players won't be at a psychological disadvantage.
He said the experience of meeting JDT in the FA Cup final and playing in the AFC Cup competition this season had made the team more mature.
