KUALA LUMPUR: Pearly Tan-M.Thinaah are out of the Malaysia Masters.

The second seeds fell short in their bid to reach their second consecutive final after going down 21-16, 21-11 to South Korea's Lee Yu Lim-Shin Seung Chan in the semi-finals at the Axia Arena, Bukit Jalil, on Saturday.

For the record, it was Pearly-Thinaah's first defeat to the South Korean world No. 26.

In last year's final, the former French Open champions lost to South Korea's Baek Ha Na-Lee So Hee.
