KUALA LUMPUR: Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani made history when they reached the Asian Championships final in Ningbo, China, today.

In an all-Malaysian semi-final, Sze Fei-Izzuddin upset former world champions Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik 21-14, 21-18.

World No. 19 Sze Fei-Izzuddin will play the winners of the match between world No. 3 Liang Wei Keng-Wang Chang of China and Lee Jhe Huei-Yang Po Hsuan of Taiwan for the Asian crown.

It is the third consecutive year that Malaysia has produced a finalists in men's doubles.

Two years ago Aaron-Wooi Yik reached the final, while independents Ong Yew Sin-Teo Ee Yi made the final last year.
