We refer to the online article “Apartment residents to sue DBKL over flood damage” published in the New Straits Times on Sept 29.
Naza Engineering & Construction had conducted an initial investigation and we concluded that the overflowing of water was not caused by us as there are other contractors working on the same site.
While we await results from further investigation by all related parties and Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL), we have agreed with other contractors to provide goodwill measures to the residents of Ixora Apartment.
On our part, we will supply water pumps as a temporary measure to mitigate the situation and concurrently station manpower at the site to monitor the situation closely. We will render further assistance.
