KUALA NERANG: Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor claims that Perikatan Nasional (PN) has already obtained sufficient numbers of statutory declarations (SD) to overthrow the unity government.

However, the PN election director did not provide details on the matter, including the number of SDs obtained.

"It is enough (the number of SDs), just wait for the day," he said when met after the Launching Ceremony of the Publicity and Public Participation Programme for the Padang Terap Local Plan Draft at Dewan Tunku Putra here today.

He said this when asked about the SDs aimed at toppling the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Yesterday, it was reported that PN denied a statement claiming that the Yang di-Pertuan Agong has agreed to grant an audience to 118 MPs.

The false statement was claimed to be issued by PN secretary-general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin, as circulated on social media.

The media statement dated Jan 6, circulating on social media, claimed that PN expressed gratitude for the effort to save the country and received the blessings of Seri Paduka Baginda.

However, Anwar who is also Pakatan Harapan chairman, has stated that the ' Dubai Move' would not affect the unity government.
