KUALA LUMPUR: Syed Ahmad Syed Abdul Rahman Alhadad, widely known as Altimet, the Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate for the Lembah Jaya state seat, expressed his weariness following a period of intense campaigning.

The renowned rapper and composer cast his vote at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Seri Keramat at 8.04am.

Altimet acknowledged the weariness stemming from his campaign efforts and recognised that the outcome of today's voting would significantly influence his future.

"To be honest, I'm exhausted. After this, I might take a day to rest.'I'm tired and eager to rest afterwards," he told reporters when met here.

Altimet also called upon all eligible voters to fulfil their civic duty by casting their votes.

"It's still early in the day; we need as many people as possible to exercise their right to vote. This is our power, entitlement, and privilege.

"I believe the people of Selangor are rational enough to participate in the voting process," he remarked.

Altimet, 45, created a surprise when he was announced as a contender for the seat by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

In this election, Altimet will face Perikatan Nasional candidate Sharifah Haslizah Syed Ariffin.
