SEMENYIH: Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate Muhammad Aiman Zainali is not perturbed with the sarcasm from netizens on his over-eagerness to resolve the problems faced by the people here.

The 30-year old engineer made the pledge to help the people resolve their problems a day after he wins the Semenyih by-election.

Instead, the engineering graduate is taking the sarcasm from the netizens into his stride and has vowed that he would work harder than ever to meet his electorate before the March 2 by-election.

Aiman said his ‘mistake’ which he made in his speech during his campaign at Batu 26, Beranang last Thursday did not amount to a mere empty promise but rather it emanated from his eagerness to help the people of Semenyih.

“The sarcasm from netizens has not affected me in anyway, as I know that the pledge I made was to work hard for the people of the constituency.

“That is my spirit, I can’t wait to resolve the problems faced by the people.

“What I meant at that time was that I do not have to wait too long to go down to the grounds and help the people,” he said.

Aiman was speaking to reporters after attending a get-togather programme with the people of Taman Pelangi, here today. He had accompanied Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.

Last Thursday, Aiman in his speech said that he would go down to the ground a day after the polls to help resolve the problems faced by the people in the constituency.

This bought sarcasm and negative remarks from netizens on his ‘over eagerness’ to render help immediately after the polls.

On Friday, PH deputy president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had uttered such a statement as he was eager and excited to help the people of the constituency.
