SEREMBAN: Anthony Loke was re-elected as Negri Sembilan DAP chairman during the 18th DAP Negri Sembilan Convention and Elections here today.
Loke, who is Transport Minister and Seremban Member of Parliament, has held the position for the past 14 years.
Meanwhile, Seremban Jaya state assemblyman P Gunasekaran and Rasah MP Cha Kee Chin also retained their posts of state DAP deputy chairman and secretary, respectively.
State Human Resource, Farming and Non-Muslim Affairs committee chairman J Arul Kumar was appointed state DAP organisation secretary.
The convention was launched by DAP secretary general Lim Guan Eng.
Also present were Tan Sri Dr Rais Yatim and state Parti Amanah Negara chairman Zulkefly Mohd Omar.
A total of 393 party representatives participated in the state-run committee election, which is held every three years.
