SKUDAI: DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang has become yet another political leader falling victim of spam calls on polling day.

The Pakatan Rakyat candidate for the Kota Iskandar Parliament seat said he had been receiving calls from several countries such as from the United States and Greece.

"My phone was ringing non-stop, with international calls bombarding my phone all the time. This has caused problems as nobody could get through to me as the line remained busy all the time," said Lim.

The DAP veteran was quick to pin the blame on Umno and the Barisan Nasional, alleging that it was yet another dirty tactic by the coalition to cut off his communication on polling day.

Lim was speaking to reporters after making his rounds at several polling stations in the Iskandar Parliamentary constituency.

Asked whether he had cast his ballot paper, Lim vaguely replied that he had registered as a voter in Kampung Kolam in Penang.
