KUALA LUMPUR: Videos of a lorry driver running a red light and urinating shirtless under his lorry in traffic has sparked outrage among netizens.

The two separate videos, posted by #UpdateInfo on X (formerly known as Twitter) yesterday (June 16), were captioned: "Same vehicle, two different incidents."

The incidents, believed to have taken place on Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah in Ipoh, Perak, were recorded on the dashcam of a car waiting at the traffic light.

The first video shows the lorry driver speeding through a red light.

In the second video, the same driver is seen urinating shirtless under his lorry in the middle of traffic after stopping at the next red light.

Netizens expressed their rage at the lorry driver and claimed he was intoxicated after watching the videos.

"Anthony Loke, when will the road traffic act be amended? Heavy punishment should be given to drunk drivers. It's becoming too much; people are fed up.

Don't let it until the public takes matters into their own hands. Luckily, Malaysians tend to compromise. In countries like Latin America, Indonesia, and Africa, it would already be rough," wrote Firdaus.

"It is such bad behaviour. It's similar to those who get into fights when they're drunk," comments Akmam.

"From experience, this driver is definitely on drugs. That's why he's behaving abnormally and not thinking straight. Hope PDRM finds him soon before lives are lost," wrote Indera.

Another wrote: "The authorities need to take action before something bad happens. This lorry driver is endangering others."

"This kind of behaviour is unacceptable and he shouldn't be allowed on the road. PDRM please arrest and penalise him for traffic violations," mentioned Mohd Idris Omar.
