KUALA LUMPUR: A video clip of a police outrider allegedly causing an accident while on duty has gone viral.

The clip, believed to be from a dashcam of a vehicle which was in front of the escort, shows the outrider speeding up before stopping abruptly, allegedly causing the accident.

The clip also contains images of what appears to be scratches caused by the police motorcycle hitting the back of the vehicle.

The video was shared by Edisi Siasat on Telegram. As of today, the video has garnered 74.9K views and reactions.

When contacted, Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Allaudeen Abdul Majid urged the motorist who was involved in the accident to file a report.
