KUALA LUMPUR: The act of a man, presumably a teacher, repeatedly hitting a young boy has riled up social media users.
In the 42 second video posted on the Warga Kuantan OFFICIAL page on Facebook, the man was seen reprimanding a boy on a stage which was decorated for a school celebration.
The video, which was likely secretly filmed by an attendee, showed the man shoving and pushing the boy and even hitting him on the head.
In another video posted on one of the comments, the man was seen kicking another boy on the leg.
It is unclear where the incident had taken place.
The video has garnered more than 2,000 views and shares on the social media platform.
"Which school is this teacher from? I hope the Education Ministry terminates his service, you can't just poke someone's head like that. As an educationist, you should be an example," user Faizahtul Akma said.
Despite the majority of the social media users having slammed the act of the man, some actually questioned what the other attendees were doing when it happened.
"It doesn't matter if the man actually is a boss, others should have at least advised the man," Asmida Nasir said.
