KUALA LUMPUR: A day's out to celebrate a birthday turned into a hilarious occasion for three friends when the waiter brought out the birthday cake.
On the plate next to the slice of cake was a birthday message, but written in the most unexpected way.
It all started when one of them gave a special instruction to the restaurant to include a message together with the cake.
The instructions read: "Can you write Happy Birthday Diyana & Sing Song".

In the video, posted on TikTok by @hyninzri, a waiter was seen walking to their table and began serving a slice of birthday cake to one of them.
The trio were shocked when they saw the writing on the plate and immediately burst into laughter.
This went on for a good one minute if not more, with one of them seen laughing non-stop while pointing at the message.
@hyninzri said what she meant was for the waiter to sing a birthday song while bringing the cake to their table, not to literally wrote it as part of the message.
The innocent-looking waiter appeared at a loss during this entire episode, oblivious of the mistake.
The video received more than 6,000 likes and has been shared by over 1,500 TikTok users since it was posted six days ago.
The caption on the video read: "We requested him to sing but instead he did something else."
