KUALA LUMPUR: Police will conduct an investigation from a disciplinary standpoint into the altercation involving two female police officers at the Brickfields police station on May 25.

Brickfields district police chief, Assistant Commissioner Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood, said the altercation was caused by a personal matter between the police officers.

"The incident does not involve any civilians and there was no use of dangerous weapons" he said.

"The investigation for this case will be conducted from a disciplinary standpoint," he added.

Earlier, a police report regarding the incident circulated on social media with a female Lance Corporal reportedly injured in the head.

According to the circulating police report, a female Corporal involved in the incident has already provided a statement.
