KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today wished Happy Mother's Day to all mothers, including his late mother, Che Yan Hamid Hussein, and his wife, Datin Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.
In a Facebook post, Anwar said the kindness and sacrifices of mothers in educating and raising their children should be remembered.
"Thank you for all the sacrifices, fatigue, and continuous advice for the love of your children.
"Remember the deeds of our mother. Embrace her and kiss her hands at every moment as long as the Almighty grants us time to be with our mother," the post read.
Mother's Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May every year.
