KUALA LUMPUR: The King and Queen of Malaysia, His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim and Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah have extended their greetings on Mother's Day to all women, who bear the title of mother.
His Majesty conveyed the message through a post on Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar's official Facebook page, also extending Mother's Day wishes to her Majesty.
"I am always grateful to Allah for blessing me with a wife and mother who is very caring to our children.
"The sacrifices and love that Raja Zarith pours into raising them are immense.
"May Allah also continuously shower His blessings upon the late mother, Enche Besar Johor Hajah Khalsom Abdullah, and the late Raja Perempuan Perak, Raja Muzwin Raja Ariff Shah. Al-Fatihah," said His Majesty.
Mother's Day is celebrated worldwide on the second Sunday of May each year.
