He said it took him four hours to drive to Kuala Kubu Baharu before casting their votes at SJKC Khing Ming this morning.

"I drove from Kuala Kangsar because I've been living there for 10 years, but I often return to Kuala Kubu Baharu for various errands.

"My son's house is also near Kuala Kubu Baharu, so every time I vote, I come back here," he told reporters after meeting them at the polling centre today.

Another pair of senior citizens voters, who are close friends, arrived together to cast their votes, as they have done in previous elections.

Yuen Yoon and Chin Choon Kew, both 90, from Pekan Kuala Kubu Baharu, left the polling centre at SJKC Khing Ming around 9am.

"Our houses are next to each other, and we're close friends. Every time we vote, we go together.

"We have voted many times already. We have lost count of how many times we have voted here."

Voters at SJKC Khing Ming started casting their votes as early as 8 am today.

The by-election, will see a four-cornered fight involving Pang Sock Tao (Pakatan Harapan), Khairul Azhari Saut (Perikatan Nasional), Hafizah Zainuddin (Parti Rakyat Malaysia), and Nyau Ke Xin (independent).
