KUALA LUMPUR: Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli advised blogger Lim Sian See to be patient, stating that there are more important government programmes to settle in the coming weeks before he can confirm a date for their debate.

"This Lim Sian See seems to have no other occupation; he simply craves attention. Later, I will extend an invitation to him to participate in an audio broadcast program (podcast), but only after I finish dealing with some of the major programmes for the people," said Rafizi at the Raya Open House organised by the Pandan Parliament, held here today.

Rafizi mentioned that he is currently occupied with organising several programmes related to the national economy.

"We will soon send an invitation to Lim, but in these two or three weeks, there are several major government programs. For instance, this Monday, we will be launching the KL20.

"Our priority is the people. Let us complete the major programs related to the economy first," he said.

However, Rafizi added that there would be a few conditions set before the meeting, including Lim signing his full name, providing his identification card, and full address.

"This is to ensure that this individual no longer hides under the name 'Lim Sian See.' Until now, he has been using that pseudonym to control Datuk Seri Najib's Facebook," he said.

He mentioned that Lim has evaded the authorities by using the name to criticise anyone without facing any consequences.

Rafizi was responding to Lim's comments that he had not yet been contacted by Rafizi's office to schedule a date for the debate.
