ROMPIN: Police are seeking the public's help in locating a 38-year-old man who went missing after leaving his house in Kuala Rompin more than a week ago.

Tea Lai Huat was last seen in Kuala Rompin before he was reported missing on March 8.

District police chief Deputy Superintendent Nor Azman Yusof said the victim's wife lodged a report about 8.30pm that day claiming her husband had failed to return home.

"The missing man is married and has a child. According to his wife, the man is currently unemployed.

"He was last seen by family members leaving their house in Jalan Sabak here to go to Kuala Rompin. The family searched the area when he failed to return home before they lodged a police report," he said.

Nor Azman urged anyone with information on the incident to contact investigating officer Inspector Mohd Asura Ahamad at 017-4877230, the Rompin police headquarters at 09-4145222, or the nearest police station.
