KLANG: Two individuals aboard the plane that crashed near here are believed to be trapped beneath the earth following the impact.

The search and rescue (SAR) team will utilise excavators to retrieve the aircraft wreckage buried in the soil within an oil palm plantation area in Kampung Tok Muda, Kapar.

Earlier, the SAR team employed various tools, including hoes, to clear the aircraft wreckage.

Additionally, police air wing deployed drones to survey the crash site.

Previously, Harian Metro confirmed that a passenger and pilot were on board the light aircraft model BK 160 Gabriel with registration number I-POOC, which crashed in Kampung Tok Muda, Kapar.
