KOTA BARU: The Rantau Panjang Immigration, Customs, Quarantine and Security (ICQS) centre was reopened today after being closed since Tuesday due to the massive floods.

A spokesman for the Kelantan Immigration Department's strategic planning and corporate services division said the complex was reopened after the Golok river had receded.

"Operations at ICQS is back to normal," the spokesman said.

The spokesman said the ferry services between Malaysia and Thailand in Pengkalan Kubor, Tumpat that was temporary halted on Tuesday, also operated as usual today.

The ferry services operate daily, sending passengers from Pengkalan Kubor to Takbai town in Thailand.
