KUALA LUMPUR: Police will not allow any tents to be setup by the people who are taking part in the six day "blockade" in front of the United States Embassy here

Kuala Lumpur police chief, Datuk Allaudeen Abdul Majid said that it is important to protect the safety of the public including the embassies operating in the country.

He also stressed that the police did not receive any notice from the #Kepung Demi Palestine organisers about any siege in front of the embassy.

"For now, we are not taking such actions, and our primary responsibility is to ensure that there are no structures, tents, and so on," he told reporters just outside the US Embassy.
