KUALA LUMPUR: Police have urged a Proton Wira driver, who was involved in a collision with a police bus in Taman Greenwood, Gombak on Wednesday to come forward to help with investigations.

The police bus was making a U-Turn in Jalan Batu Caves and was reversing when it collided with the car, which was trailing behind it.

Acting Gombak district police chief Superintendent Noor Ariffin Mohamad Nasir said the police found a 10-minute video showing the incident uploaded by the @deafebianschannel1 TikTok account yesterday.

"The video showed the bus with the words 'Polis Kuala Lumpur' making a U-turn at a traffic light junction and crashing into a Proton Wira as the bus reversed.

"Investigations showed the incident happened at 2.30pm on Dec 6 when the bus was en route to Kuala Lumpur from Batu Caves," he said in a statement today.

The case is investigated under Rule 112 of the Road Traffic Rules 1959.

"Members of the public who saw the incident or have information about the incident, as well as the owner of the @deafebianschannel1 TikTok account and Proton Wira driver have been urged to come forward to assist investigations."
