BENTONG: I just met him two days ago, said Bentong member of parliament Young Syefura Othman, who shared her sorrow over the death of Pahang exco member Datuk Seri Johari Harun.
Johari, who was also the state Local Government, Housing, Environment and Green technology exco member, was among 10 people who died in a plane crash in Elmina, Shah Alam this afternoon.
Young Syefura, better known as Rara, shared an image of the meeting with Johari on her Facebook page today.
Today, we were rocked by shocking news of the plane crash in Elmina, Shah Alam. Whats more shocking is that it also involved my friend, the late Datuk Seri Johari Harun, who was a Pahang exco and Pelangai assemblyman.
I am devastated by the loss. It was only two days ago that Datuk Seri Johari and I had met to discuss the development plans for Bentong and Pelangai. Al-Fatihah, she wrote.

She also extended her condolences to the families of the other victims.
I pray that Allah will bless their souls and place them among the righteous. May the families be given strength to weather this trying time, she said.
Among those who perished were passengers Kharil Azwan Jamaludin, Shaharul Amir Omar, Mohamad Naim Fawwaz Mohamed Muaidi, Muhammad Taufiq Mohd Zaki and Idris Abdol Talib @ Ramali.
The plane was manned by Captain Shahrul Kamal Roslan, 41 who was assisted by Heikal Aras Abdul Azim, 48.
Apart from the passengers and crew, others who died included a motorcyclist as well as a motorist who were hit by the aircraft.
