KUALA LUMPUR: Fly FM achieved a milestone in Malaysian broadcasting when it introduced the country's first artificial intelligence-powered radio DJ, Aina Sabrina.
Aina was developed by Fly FM's production engineers, and is equipped with a vast music database.
She can create and mix music in real time. She also offers music recommendations based on an individual's preferences.
"With the introduction of Aina, we are extremely excited to introduce a brand new phase of the Malaysian radio industry, and Aina is the definition of this," said Fly FM's content director Sean Matjeraie.
International cultured milk brand Calpis is teaming up with Fly FM as the official sponsor for Malaysia's first AI radio show: Calpis with Aina, airing on weekdays from 2pm to 4pm.
