GEORGE TOWN: The body of a man was found stuck in a fish cage near Pulau Jerejak here yesterday.
The remains of the 55-year-old, from Bukit Mertajam, were confirmed as the individual was believed to have fallen off the Penang Bridge earlier the same day.
Penang Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (Maritime Malaysia) Captain Maritime Abd Razak Mohamed said the man's identity was confirmed by police based on his clothes.
He said the body was taken to the Penang Hospital (HPP) for further action.
"Following the discovery of the body, the search operation was terminated," he said in a statement.
