PUTRAJAYA: Singapore's Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Vivian Balakrishnan pays a courtesy call on Malaysia's 10th Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at his official residence Seri Perdana, here.

The visit was aimed at strengthening existing ties and relations between both countries which also share a lot of similarities in terms of geography, culture and climate.

In a Facebook post on PM's official page, Anwar shared a few photos taken during the meeting with Balakrishnan.

"During the courtesy visit, we exchanged views on various bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.

"I also expressed my desire to focus on the economy and progress in solving outstanding bilateral issues between Malaysia and Singapore in a more comprehensive manner," he said in his post.
