KUALA LUMPUR: Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi spent some time visiting media personnel covering the 2022 Umno General Assembly here today.
The centre provides various facilities for news organisations covering the assembly which kicked off on Wednesday and is due to end later today
The media centre houses media from print, electronic and social media platforms.
During his visit, Zahid also celebrated media personnel who were born in January, along with his birthday which was on Jan 4.
Some media personnel also took the opportunity to take photos with Zahid, who is the deputy prime minister and rural and regional development minister.
Other than Zahid, several Umno leaders have also visited the media centre.
Among them were Wanita Umno chief Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad, Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, and information chief Isham Jalil.
