KUALA LUMPUR: The National Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre has warned of possible flash floods in parts of Pahang and Johor in the next two days.

The centre, which is under the Drainage and Irrigation Department, said areas near Sungai Melikai in Mersing, Johor, were expected to be inundated from 4am tomorrow.

The centre said Kampung Semanggar in Kota Tinggi, Johor, was expected to be flooded after 4pm on Thursday.

A similar warning has been issued for the Rompin district in Pahang, where Kampung Buluh Nipis, Felda Selancar and areas in the vicinity, might face a flood after 6pm on Thursday.
