HULU SELANGOR: The search-and-rescue (SAR) operations for the Father's Organic Farm landslide victims has been suspended for the second time today due to rain.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Datuk Norazam Khamis said the SAR teams had to stand down at 8.15pm.

"After the rain stops, we will do another evaluation (to determine whether the SAR can be resumed), based on the soil structure," he told reporters when contacted.

SAR was halted from 4.30pm to 5.30pm earlier, but operations resumed after the rain stopped.

Earlier, Norazam in a press conference said SAR was expected to continue until 4am, depending on the weather, and is scheduled to start at 8am tomorrow.
