KUALA LUMPUR: All camping sites and water recreational areas in Batang Kali have been ordered closed with immediate effect, said Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
This follows the pre-dawn landslide at the Father's Organic Farm campsite near Jalan Genting-Batang Kali today.
Meanwhile, the Fire and Rescue Department's Corporate Department has revised the number of people and the breakdown of victims involved in the incident.
The department said the number of victims involved now stands at 94, with 59 of them safe, one injured and 22 still missing.
