KUALA LUMPUR: Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today launched his new book titled "Developing a Madani Nation: Vision and Framework for Reformation Policy".
"Madani represents six commandments — sustainability, prosperity, creative thinking, respect, confidence and courtesy — that are pillars of happiness for the people.
"These are part of efforts to create a Madani country for the future.
"Madani was written as a result of four decades worth of experience in public service, leading a few ministries, spearheading a few international bodies as well as being an educator at prestigious universities across the globe."
Anwar said the Madani framework was an offer of a new vision for the people, an endeavour that was integrated and holistic, supported by policies that were future orientated to create a society that was Madani — modern, skilled, adept and inclusive.
