KOTA BARU: Sultanah of Kelantan Che Puan Nur Diana Petra Abdullah made her first appearance when she received a visit from Pertubuhan Kerabat D'Raja Kelantan (PKDK) today.
The visit, which was held at the State Palace in Kubang Kerian, was uploaded on the Sultan of Kelantan's Media Unit office on its official facebook.
It was the first appearance made by Che Puan Nur Diana after being proclaimed Sultanah of Kelantan last month.
Today's visit by was led by PKDK's president Tengku Ramizan Tengku Abdul Aziz. He was joined by several members of the organisation.
During the visit, the Sultanah handed over souvenirs to her guests.
Sultan Muhammad V proclaimed his wife, Che Puan Nur Diana Petra Abdullah, the Sultanah of Kelantan effective Aug 2.
The proclamation, which was read out by Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob at Istana Balai Besar here, saw the new Sultanah also bestowed with the title of Her Highness Che Puan Nur Diana.
Ahmad had said the proclamation was made in accordance with Clause (1) Article 43 of the Kelantan Constitution (Part Two).
Sultan Muhammad V had also bestowed the title of Her Highness Che Puan Mahkota Kelantan to Che Puan Sofie Louise Johansson Petra, wife of the Tengku Mahkota Kelantan.
