PETALING JAYA: Media Prima Bhd (MPB) employees now have free access to integrated health services via a digital app starting today.

The company's Fit-tastic programme, a collaboration between MPB and digital health firm Naluri, is for employees who want to obtain their current mental and physical health status.

MPB group managing director Rafiq Razali said the programme aimed to create awareness of mental, emotional and physical wellbeing, as well as provide a support system to staff members.

"The health and wellbeing of the MPB staff are a priority for the company, which is why we always prepare new initiatives and programmes for them.

"This is an ongoing programme for all MPB employees, which will allow them to have access to mental and physical health services," he said after the launch of MPB Fit-tastic at Sri Pentas here today.

Present were MPB group general manager for the Human Resources Department Nor Arzlin Redzwan and Naluri chief executive officer Azran Osman Rani.

Azran said the programme also offered a 24-hour support assistance service for MPB staff to get guidance and advice from 100 professional and certified experts, such as dieticians, physicists, counsellors, doctors, fitness coaches, executive coaches, pharmacists, financial planners and more.

"Financial problems and workplace stress are the two biggest sources of stress for employees in Malaysia, so we provide access to multidisciplinary professional expert assistance and consultation at your fingertips on a 24-hour basis without the requirement of an appointment."

Azran said the application also came with several features, such as a food journal, healthy sleeping habit tracker, daily modules, planners and others.

"From the application, an expert will contact the employee and provide further guidance and information to ensure they receive the treatment they need," he said.

MPB is expected to hold the same programme at Balai Berita in Bangsar next month.
