SERIAN: A man in his 50s died on the spot after his car crashed and landed on the roof of a house in a three-vehicle accident along Batu 29, Jalan Kuching-Serian this morning.

Apart from the victim's Toyota Innova, the incident, which took place at 6.55am, also involved a Perodua Kancil and a motorcycle.

Bilong Usat, Serian Fire and Rescue Station's operations commander, said the victim, who was alone in the car, was found dead and still pinned to the driver's seat when the medical team arrived.

"The Serian fire and rescue team helped remove the victim from the vehicle and handed the body over to the police for further action,' he said.

The three other victims, he said, sustained minor injuries. They received first aid from the Serian Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) personnel before being sent to the Serian Hospital for further treatment.
