KUCHING: A 47-year-old lawyer died after passing out while he was at a law firm in Gala City here yesterday.
Kuching police chief Assistant Commissioner Ahsmon Bajah said the man was brought to Sarawak General Hospital by ambulance.
"However, the victim was confirmed dead while being treated at the Sarawak General Hospital at 3.03pm," he told Berita Harian when contacted today.
Ahsmon said a post mortem examination was done today and the case was classified as sudden death.
Earlier, a video had gone viral social media showing a paramedic team taking the victim on a stretcher to an ambulance.
