KUALA LUMPUR: Certain areas in Klang and Shah Alam are expected to experience water supply disruption after a main pipe burst at Bulatan Persiaran Tengku Ampuan, Section 15 in Shah Alam.

Selangor Water Management Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) said in a statement today that the unscheduled disruption will affect 58 areas in the Klang/Shah Alam regions and 72 areas in the Petaling region.

"To ensure repair work runs smoothly, Air Selangor will shut water supply at 1pm today.

"The repair work is expected to be completed by 9pm the same day, and water supply will be channeled to consumers once the work is completed," said Air Selangor.

The duration of water supply recovery to consumers varies from one area to another depending on the location and distance of the premises.

Consumers are advised to keep adequate water supply and use water prudently during this unscheduled disruption period.
