KUALA LUMPUR: Fire and Rescue Department rescuer Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim is showing positive signs of improvement.

“He is getting better,” said Minister in the Prime Minister Department, Senator P Waytha Moorthy at the Parliament lobby.

Yesterday, Muhammad Adib who was critically injured during a fracas at a temple here, was transferred to the National Heart Institute (IJN) in Kuala Lumpur.

Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin said Muhammad Adib, who was admitted to the Subang Jaya Medical Centre’s Intensive Care Unit, was sent to IJN at about 11.33pm yesterday.

Zuraida said following consultations with IJN, a decision was made to transfer Muhammad Adib to the facility to ensure he received the necessary medical treatment.
