MELAKA: Developers at the New Straits Times Press MyRumah Property Exhibition 2018 are offering various special packages for visitors intending to purchase their dream homes, in conjunction with the exhibition’s first visit to the state.
SPNB Aspirasi project manager Mohamad Ismail Basiron said his company’s package included a discounted rate of between five and 15 per cent for Bumiputeras.
“This is only for those who visit the MyRumah exhibition here, and is on top of the free legal fees we offer. All they need to do is come to the exhibition and pay a deposit of only RM500.
“We have two types of units — a two-storey terrace in Taman Sutera Wangi, Batu Berendam for as low as RM580,000 and a single-storey bungalow at RM650,000, both of which are before discounts,” he said.
Handal Group sales manager Julian Yii said his company also offered packages with free legal fees, memorandum of transfers and sales and purchase agreement, specifically for visitors to the exhibition.
“This is a great exhibition as it brings together developers, insurance companies, banks and property experts, plus it has some attractive activities for families.”
Meanwhile, MyRumah project manager Mohd Haslan Abdul Abbas said the exhibition, based on the 3E concept of Education, Exhibition and Entertainment, had various activities, including talks by property experts as well as activities for children such as colouring contests and musical chairs.
“We also have a lucky draw with prizes provided by popular furniture companies... all you need to do is get a pass and fill it up with stamps from all the booths at the exhibition.
“I encourage people to attend the exhibition as property experts such as Akmal Nizam, Ros Shila and Awang @ Musran will share tips which will prove to be invaluable,” he said.
