SANDAKAN: A corporal from the General Operation Force was drowned and his colleague was missing when their boat capsized during a fishing trip off Tundun Bohangin yesterday.
The other boat occupant identified as Lawig Elan survived in the incident.
The drowned has been identified as Corporal Walter Dennis from GOF Battalion 15 based here and his missing colleague is Corporal Muhd Hanip @ Musley.
Walter’s body was sent to the Duchess of Kent Hospital here yesterday.
Search and Rescue operation continued today to look for Hanip.
