SRI AMAN: A Form One student at a secondary school here was rushed to the hospital yesterday in what police suspect to be a case of a prank gone awry.

The 13-year-old victim from Pantu near here was admitted to the Sri Aman Hospital due to food poisoning shortly after he ate a fried noodle, which was mixed with poison meant to kill cockroaches.

Sarawak Criminal Investigations Department chief Datuk Dev Kumar said police have picked up the boy's classmate for questioning at his house in Taman Sri Jaya today.
