KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Idris Jala, tasked to investigate the Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV) dispute, has arrived at Menara Felda here at 2.33pm.
He was escorted by two auxiliary policemen from his car to the elevator.
Idris only smiled to reporters when he asked to give a few words on the progress of investigations.
Yesterday, the Prime Minister's Office announced his appointment as an independent party to establish facts behind the tussle within Felda.
He has also been tasked to recommend the way forward regarding the decision by the FGV Board to suspend chief executive officer Datuk Zakaria Arshad, chief financial officer Ahmad Tifli Mohd Talha and two other senior members of the management team after consultation with all relevant parties.
