SEREMBAN: Cub Prix rider Norizman Ismail, who was killed in an accident on Friday, was laid to rest at Tanah Perkuburan Islam Kampung Sendayan here this morning.
The 32-year-old, who hailed from Sungai Buloh, Selangor, was buried at 11.15am amidst a gathering of over 200 family members, friends and team mates.
His remains arrived from Kemaman, Terengganu, at 7.30am and briefly exhibited at his mother-in-law's house at Taman Nusari Bayu here, before being transported to Surau Nusari Bayu 2 to be bathed and for special prayers to be performed, at 10am.
Norizman died at 3.50pm on Friday when he fell off his bike at the first corner during time trials at the CP150 cub prix race at the Bandar Baru Kijal Terengganu race circuit.
He was brought to the Kemaman Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
